Welcome to this review of Optimum Nutrition Opti-Performance Packs multivitamin product. Is this the best multivitamin product on the market today? Is it a quality product? This article will hopefully answer those questions.
The Opti-Performance product comes in two versions but also a uni-sex version, which is what is highlighted here. (They have a men’s and women’s version.) It is produced by the well respected Optimum Nutrition company that develops sports nutritional supplements spanning everything from a multivitamin to their flagship whey protein powder products.
Let’s now get into this multivitamin by Optimum Nutrition and their Opti-Performance supplement.
Optimum Nutrition Opti-Performance Features
As with all Optimum Nutrition health supplements, the Opti-Performance product is produced in what are called “GMP” compliant facilities. GMP is an acronym for “good manufacturing practices” and is highly desirable.
Optimum Nutrition has NSF Certified for Sport registered GMP certification. That is an indicator of high product quality. These requirements are consistent with the published GMP regulation for dietary supplements as published by the FDA in June 2007.
GMP standards comprise the manufacturing practices, raw material product selection and end product creation and ensures a high quality control, thus giving the best product possible. It also means that banned and illegal substances are not added either. It lastly ensures that there is also no contamination of the raw materials for vitamin encapsulation. If their facility was FDA-registered also that would be highly desirable as well, but that doesn’t appear to be the case here.
The Opti-Performance multivitamin supplement is well regarded in the bodybuilding community but not so much among other health enthusiasts.
Vitamin Profile of the Opti-Performance
What’s in the product? The Opti-Performance product comes with the following vitamins and minerals:
- Vitamin A
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin D
- Vitamin E
- Vitamin B6
- Vitamin B12
- Folic Acid
- Pantothenic Acid
That is not all, however. It also has the following amino acids and other extracts:
- Ginko biloba
A negative of this product is its filler ingredients gelatin and silica. Silica is basically sand. It is a binding agent. The other is gelatin, which is the collagen that is derived from animal products, including horses.
This is also not the most comprehensive multivitamin on the market but bear in mind it has been designed mostly for fitness enthusiasts as well as those seeking a good bodybuilding multivitamin.
How Much Should You Expect to Pay for Opti-Performance?
This product has a variable price range depending on where you buy it. One of the reasons why I recommend Amazon is due to their prices, which tend to be the lowest on the market.
The price range for this product is $35.50 to $51.69. You can see it here.
Does The Opti-Performance Have a Product Guarantee?
Like most vendors, Optimum Nutrition does support their product but they defer to the retailer, whether online or offline, and their policies. Besides the best prices on the Net, one of the reasons why I recommend Amazon is their customer service and their fair guarantee. You can read it here.
Consumer Reviews & Testimonials
On Amazon.com, there are only a few reviews of this product but all are positive. It ranks a 5.0 out of 5.0. However, on another site, there are 1,217 reviews with the score being 9.2 out of 10. Clearly that is a significant level of consumer acceptance. Needless to say, this is a well received product in the marketplace.

I’m half way through my second month of using these. I had previously used the Jigsaw complete packs which I liked but cost 2x what these cost, so I decided to try them. I haven’t been disappointed. I will continue to use these.

Doesn’t give me the shakes like the GNC packets did. Good easy transition. Like the neat handy box for a dispenser!
Are there any customer complaints? Not really. This is a well received product that by all appearances is very well made.
- It’s a very popular multivitamin
- It’s affordable
- It was produced in a NSF for Sport GMP compliant facility
- Customers seem to like it
- It has a full complement of the full spectrum of vitamins, minerals, nutritional co-factors and amino acids
- It was not produced in a FDA-registered facility
- The product guarantee is too short
- It doesn’t have enteric coating but pharmaceutical glaze
Where Can I Buy It?
I recommend buying it here, but you are free to choose. Is the ON Opti-Performance Pack the best multivitamin on the market? I don’t think it is, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a quality product.
It is made with exacting standards and is from a very well respected bodybuilding supplement company. That respect is well deserved, but I think Xtend-Life’s product is better due to the rigid standards and high assimilation rate. I hope this review of the ON Opti-Performance Pack multivitamin product has been useful to you.
